The name "Sunnseitn" means sunny side. Our location on more than 1.000 m is characterized by many hours of sunshine during the whole year, even in winter, because we are situated above the fog line. We offer a comfortable apartment with private entrance on the ground / garden level with pool and private parking. Your stay we be exclusive for you, we do not accommodate any other guests. We are accessible all year round on a public road.
We are private hosts (no agency). We rent apartments in Upper Austria and in our country house in Carinthia and if desired we are happy to help you to plan your stay. We run a beekeeping as a sideline activity and if you are interested you can visit the bees with us.
The south side of our country house offers a clear view into the Drautal, to the famous castle of Landskron, and up to the Karawanken with the breathtaking mountain named Mittagskogel. In spring, summer and autumn, you can start hiking and mountain bike tours towards Schwarzsee, Palnock, Rindernock and Mirnock with a 360 ° panoramic view right from the front door. To cool down, our pool in the garden or the nearby lake Afritzersee awaits you for swimming or fishing. The mountains and the nearby lakes offers a variety of other holiday experiences as well as sports, adventures, relaxing, art and culture. In winter, a pristine snowscape on the Verditz lures to snowshoe hikes, ski tours or just to enjoy. The famous ski areas Gerlitzen and Bad Kleinkirchheim are around 15 minutes away by car from here.
