Alphawood is a 13-acre heaven perched on the top of the hill with breathtaking views of the Watagan Ranges. Located in renowned Mount View just minutes away from wineries, restaurants & golf courses. The famous Bistro Molines is just a 5 min drive away and Pokolbin wineries – Peterson’s, Lakes Folly, Brokenwood, McGuigan and restaurants – Muse, Amanda's, EXP, Esca - just a 15 min drive. Alphawood is one of Hunter Valley’s most alluring holiday homes - and we know you’ll never want to leave!

Mount View really pushes the envelope when it comes to idyllic views. Drive on Mount View Road and wind your way up to the very top past terraced vineyards and lush green pastures dotted with cows and kangaroos. The landscape is a kaleidoscope of colours with each changing season and the views from Bimbadeen Lookout stretch to Barrington Tops and the coast on a clear day. As far as idyllic rural backdrops go, you can’t ask for much better than Mount View. Mount View Road weaves its way past terraced vineyards, quaint tasting rooms up to the Bimbadeen and Mt Bright Lookouts, with breathtaking views in every direction. It’s a picturesque, peaceful setting in a quiet corner of the Valley. Along the way you’ll come across acclaimed boutique cellar doors offering a wide range of wine styles. It’s the ideal spot to enjoy a laidback wine tasting in scenic surrounds with cheese and antipasto platters to nibble on. Mount View is also home to one of the region’s most awarded restaurants - Bistro Molines. What more can we say? It’s a tranquil setting with a beautiful mountaintop outlook. What’s not to like?
