Burr Cottage is situated in the picturesque and quiet town of Mt Burr. It is centrally located within the Limestone Coast region. Major attractions are within a pleasant drive including Penola and Coonawarra wine region (25 mins) Beachport (30 mins) Mount Gambier (40 mins) Naracoorte and Robe (60 mins). Mt Burr itself offers peaceful walks in the forest and amongst native vegetation and wildlife on the Mt Burr Trails, tennis courts, playgrounds and a general store for hot food and groceries.

My husband and I moved to Mount Burr from Adelaide a few years ago and after settling into our new home we acquired and renovated a rather run-down house that is now Burr Cottage. We love our new lifestyle in the peace and beauty of Mount Burr and the Limestone Coast region. We have travelled and stayed in many Airbnbs and know what creature comforts are expected to make a stay comfortable and enjoyable. Mount Burr is a small picturesque town surrounded by pine plantations and native reserves. Wildlife such as kangaroos, wallabies, emus, and many bird species can be spotted close to town. There are great playgrounds for the kids, tennis courts and basketball court or take a leisurely walk through the forest and the Mount Burr Trails. Parking in driveway provided.
