Half of the options have water views. You can choose from: 1) Rooms or Suites in the large heritage Victorian style house. 2) Apartments and Cottages (also in Williamstown - either directly opposite or a 2-5 minute drive). Captains Retreat boutique accommodation are either: a) ROOMS & SUITES in the lovely, large, heritage, Victorian-style house. All rooms and suites have ensuite bathrooms, flat screen TV's and some rooms and suites also have fireplaces and spa baths. b) refurbished APARTMENTS and COTTAGES feature stylish décor and some of the apartments offer waterfront views. Captains Retreat is located a 6-minute walk from Gem Pier and a 15-minute walk from Williamstown beach. It is a 15 minute drive from Melbourne city, a 20-minute drive from St Kilda and a 25-minute drive from Melbourne Airport. All Captains Retreat venues offer free WiFi. Luggage storage services are also available. We can also arrange airport chauffeur service if you wish.

Multi-award winning Captains Retreat Apartments & Cottages offers a variety of stylish, boutique accommodation - all in Williamstown and most within metres of the waterfront, shops, restaurants & yacht clubs. Choose between: IN THE BEAUTIFULLY RENOVATED, LARGE VICTORIAN HOUSE option 1) The Captains Spa suite - private balcony, separate private lounge area, bay window, ensuite with double shower & spa bath. option 2) Corsair Spa Room - gas fire in bedroom, fire mantle in ensuite with spa bath. option 3) Endeavour Room - smallest & newest room with small ensuite bathroom. Guests have access to the garden & Britannica lounge, where guests are welcome to help themselves to tea, coffee, muscat & biscuits either sitting near the open fire or in the bay window. We've had to make some changes in line with world events and therefore can no longer provide a cooked breakfast, so our tariffs have been adjusted accordingly. There are numerous great breakfast cafes and restaurants nearby. IN SELF CONTAINED APARTMENTS AROUND WILLIAMSTOWN * options 4-8) A selection of 1-3 bedroom apartments (some with water views). These include a breakfast basket for the first day of stay.
