Charleville Bush Cottage is your home away from home, catering for NON-SMOKERS ONLY! Fully self-contained with 1 Queen size bed, spacious living area with recliner lounge and flat screen TV. Reverse cycle air-conditioning, ceiling fans and plenty of windows for beautiful fresh air. You have your own campfire area and comfortable outdoor patio to enjoy the birds and wildlife. Just 2km from town where you have a choice of cafes and a great Newsagency. Our cottage caters for maximum 2 people. No Pets.
My husband, Graham and I own and operate Charleville Bush Caravan Park & Cottage. It is not your usual caravan park but a very relaxed place to settle in for a few days in a lovely bush setting. On 40 acres, there are plenty of places to walk and yet we're only 2kms from all the conveniences of town. We also own & operate Travel West Outback Tours and love taking our guests on a week long 4WD Motel Accommodated Tag Along Tours to Birdsville, Innamincka and the Corner Country. Originally from Sydney, there's just something about standing on top of Big Red, the tallest sand dune in the Simpson Desert but still returning to a beautiful motel for the night and some amazing meals. We also offer an Air Package to the Birdsville Races & this is doing the races in style! I love it when people come and enjoy a short break in our cottage - with daily Qantaslink flights from Brisbane it's a great short break from the hectic lifestyle of the city.
There's lots to see and do in Charleville. If you fly in with Qantaslink or Rex Airlines, Avis & Budget both offer car rentals. A taxi service is also available. The outback is known for its clear night skies and one of the best ways to see what we mean is to book into a session at our fantastic Cosmos Centre. Other great things to do include the WWII Secrets Tour & Hotel Corones Tour. During the winter months, there is a 2-hour Check Out Charleville Town Tour. We welcome your calls to chat about coming to Charleville.
