Canyonleigh Retreat's farm was set up in 2018. The Retreat opened to its guests in November 2021. We are all about sustainability, recycling, reconnecting and re-use. We grow our produce using a no till method and do not rely on chemicals for our fruits and vegetables. A large part of our produce comes from hydroponic growing to mitigate water issues. We believe in growing edibles so we can maximize its use in our kitchen. All of our jam's chutney's, relish's, sauce is made from produce we grow at the Retreat. We are proud of our 500 acre native forest which allows for wildlife and natives to prosper. Such is our belief in sustainability. We are passionate and determined to educate our guests to grow their own food and recycle resources

The Retreat is inspired by nature, wildlife and seasonally grown food using organic methods oferring breakfast and dinner alongside spacious country accommodation. The first floor individual suites each contain a cosy fireplace and balcony overlooking beautiful gardens while the ground floor suites offer self contained facility with courtyards on a 500 acre native forest for wildlife and nature exploration. We are a working farm growing fruits and vegetables with eco-friendly products, sustainability and recycling at the forefront of our work and you can book a farm tour to learn more. Our location exudes a sense of peace and tranquility, offering breathtaking views as nature's symphony unfolds each day. When you stay with us, you can enjoy fresh meals and picnic baskets prepared with our hand-picked produce, sip a glass of local wine by a campfire under the stars, immerse yourself in nature, explore our forest trails on foot or with a hired e-bike, ride trails as part of our horse riding activity, or simply relax and reconnect with yourself. We encourage you to use the Retreat as a base to explore the picturesque Southern Highlands. Discover local wineries, visit enchanting show gardens, experience a koala sanctuary, explore local galleries, historical sites and national parks, tee off at golf courses, and indulge in charming country town shopping in the surrounding villages.

Canyonleigh Retreat is located 10 kilometres from the main Hume Highway gracing the Sydney-Melbourne corridor. It is set amongst prominent landmarks such as Bradman Museum, Fitzroy Falls , Lake Alexandra Reserve and Wombeyan Caves. Alternatively, you could travel to a local Golf Course or take up a Wine Tour or visit a brewery in the region.
