Our cottage sits in the heart of Rutherglen's famous wine region, with period features and plenty of country charm. Relax by the fireplace, watch the sunset from the porch and indulge in a comfortable, stylish country escape. Five minutes walk to the town centre with the famous De Bortoli winery on your doorstep. Surrounded by some of the regions great names in wines with more than 9 wineries within a 4km radius - you are spoilt for choice of fine wines, beautiful cellar doors and gourmet food.

Rutherglen is an exceptionally beautiful area of north-east Victoria. The historic town has lots of lovely restaurants, shops and heritage pubs. There are 27 wineries within the region that range from boutique to elite. There is much to explore with Lake Moodemere, the Murray and the rail trail linking Rutherglen with other small towns in the region. The main centre of town is 5 minutes walk from the house. Rutherglen is easily accessible buy car, coach or motorbike, approximately 3.25 hours from Melbourne with an easy drive up the Hume Hwy. Rosehill Cottage has off street parking for 3 or 4 cars and has a covered carport at the rear.
