1770 Beach Accommodation is a family owned and operated business run by Richard and Jo, who took the plunge and took this business over in December 2023, after falling in love with the area on various holidays to the beautiful Agnes Water & 1770. We specialise in holiday property letting and are a buyer's advocate for Agnes Water & 1770. We hope that our guests fall in love with the area the way we did, and will always want to return.

Property information

Coral Sands is a modern unit in an apartment complex that is a short stroll from the pristine 5 kilometre long Agnes Water Main Beach, and is a short stroll to resort facilities. Resort facilities include a 25 meter lap pool, poolside garden area, children’s wading pool, heated plunge pool and a spa. Coral Sands is a five minute drive to the birthplace of Queensland, the gorgeous and historic 1770, where Captain Cook landed all those years ago. Please note that Wi-Fi is currently unavailable (Telstra are booked to fix this). The televisions are connected through Wi-Fi, these are unfortunately not in use while the Wi-Fi is down, we apologise for the inconvenience. Please note that Vodafone does not operate in Agnes Water or 1770. Please note that there is no longer a BBQ on the property, however the BBQ is pictured in the listing photographs.

Neighbourhood information

Coral Sands is situated in Agnes Water, QLD which is surrounded by National Parks, pristine waterways and long stretches of unspoiled beaches which front onto the Coral Sea. Approximately 8 kilometres away is the neighbouring town of 1770, a gorgeous, historic place where Captain Cook landed all those years ago. Along the headlands of 1770, visitors are offered amazing panoramic views across Bustard Bay, the estuary & creeks. We enjoy an excellent year-round climate with Queensland’s northernmost surf beach at Agnes Water for surfing and beach activities. Along the Bay at 1770 you can walk along the parklands and enjoy kayaking, fishing and paddle boarding. It is a short walk to the variety of cafes & boutique shops in the Agnes Water shopping Village or walk down to the beautiful Agnes Water surf beach for a leisurely day along the water. A vibrant Sunday market takes place every second Sunday morning.
