The accommodation was very modern and unique set in a lovely setting, beds were very comfortable and great for entertaining inside and outside with the barbecue. Very nice plates and cutlery and good choice of glasses. Attractive spiral staircase but probably more suited to young people not family or older people.

Set on a tranquil 50-acre property, Grampians Getaway offers fully equipped villas that include a fireplace, spa bath and private balcony. Free WiFi is available in public areas. Located around a private lake guests enjoy free rental of canoes to explore the lovely countryside. Children can play in the playground and feed the resident chickens, ducks and geese. Guests can also swim in the lake. Each unique pyramid-shaped villa has a TV, DVD player and full kitchen with an oven, a stove and a microwave. BBQ facilities and plunger coffee are provided. The bathroom has free toiletries. Grampians Getaway Villas are 5 minutes’ drive from Halls Gap and the Grampians National Park. Brambuk Aboriginal Culture Centre and Adventure Golf Park are each within 10 minutes’ drive.

Our on site lake provides free canoeing for guests. Lake is lovely after good recent rain. Our 6 villas are spaced apart and are located around our private lake. A walk around the lake will take about half an hour and in approx. 1.5 kms. Our resident geese provide entertainment with their antics. Wild ducks also visit the lake. Paddling around the lake in the early morning or evening with the mountains and clouds reflected in the water can be a surreal experience. The quiet surroundings make for a peaceful holiday at anytime of the year.
Rohan and Josephina live on site and love the outdoors and the tranquillity of living in such a beautiful environment.
The Grampians region is great place to come and visit just three hours drive from Melbourne. Hiiking in the Grampians gives visitors some amazing experiences being close to wildlife, wild flowers, amazing scenery and waterfalls. Adventure companies in the area offer rock climbing and abseiling with experienced guides, Grampians Horse Riding have experienced staff and have been offering horse riding in the region for many years. Grampians Helicopters and Quad Bikes offer a bit of a thrill for adventure seekers as well. The Halls Gap Zoo is just across the road and so is the Halls Gap Estate Winery. A few kilometres down the road towards Pomonal you will find Red Rock olive grove. We are 5 minutes drive from Halls Gap township offering cafes, Halls Gap hotel, Kookaburra Bar and café, local supermarket, bakery, chemist, petrol station and souvenir shops. Local artists are scattered though the area and including painters, sculptors and a glass blower. Further out there are a number of wineries with cellars doors to visit and get a taste of what the region has to offer including the Great Western Sepplets winery with underground tours.
