Hi my name is Matthew your Host here at Hanlon House. I have lived locally all my life and can help you with ease about the local area and even the wider Tasmania in general. My aim is for any guest to walk in and be made feel like they are at home so as your time away from home is relaxing and comfortable. I suggest atleast two to three nights with us so u can check out what the area has to offer and also time to relax here at Hanlon House in between. This is a spectacular Property, nestled in the beautiful little town of Stanley. We boast the most beautiful views of the ocean and Nut unlike any other in this area. KEY FEATURES INCLUDE: - Large en-suited rooms, serviced daily apon request. - Balconys, Sitting rooms and Laundry facilities for everyone who stays with us to enjoy. - Free Wi-Fi except the Bungalow room we ask you to come inside the house and use our sitting areas if you need the wifi. - A one-minute walk to the beach + three minutes to cafés, restaurants and shops -Option of booking breakfast rate, please beware when booking your accommodation, that you choose the breakfast rate if you are wanting more than room only. - Only the bungalow offers cooking facilities. -Open fire sitting room to enjoy over the colder months.

Stanley is a gorgeous seaside town on the North-West Coast of Tasmania, home to approximately 500 people and an impressive collection of restaurants and cafés for such a small town. Enjoy fresh seafood and shellfish, locally-pastured beef/lamb, locally matured cheese and Tasmanian wine and whiskey. Crayfish or Southern Rock Lobster can be purchased all year round in Stanley. There are galleries and gift stores – including local handcrafted wood furniture and products, photography and art, antique shops as well and whiskey tastings. The Nut Reserve is a 40 minute walk around the top of The Nut with outstanding views and Joe Lyon’s Cottage is the birthplace of Australia’s only Tasmanian-born Prime Minister.
