Hi! I am Susan de Jonge and moved from Sydney to the Port Macquarie area in 2014 after falling in love with the area and a local man. I started my own holiday accommodation business along the Port Macquarie coastline called mySOLscape (escape to the sun) so guests can discover and enjoy the area too! I live in the beautiful coastal town of Bonny Hills just south of Port. I have traveled the world and lived in Europe, USA and China and have made Australia my home now, my roots are Dutch. I spent 7 years in Sydney working in the professional service industry and was commuting back and forth between Port Macquarie and Sydney for the past years. Bonny Hills was and will always be my city escape with a permanent holiday feel, you can't beat nature around here, you will find unspoiled and uncrowded beaches, with city conveniences still nearby (Port Macquarie 20-25 min drive). I am trying to keep fit on the trails and beaches, love bush adventures and scuba diving. I also like cooking fresh food, guests can treat themselves to the herbs and veggies in the garden of certain properties. My mantra: if you don't go, you don't see. Why; why not?

HOLIDAY HOME ON TOP OF HEADLAND. 7 beds. Spacious, modern home with swimming pool. Ocean views. Private setting, the house backs onto the Kattang National Park Nature Reserve. Pilot Beach, a safe swimming beach, and Wash House Beach are at the end of the street, just 3 minutes walk. Relax in the poolside cabana. Take a stroll along the Camden Haven River. The hike to Point Perpendicular is well worth it, even the kids can walk it, the trail starts at the end of the street, round trip of 4kms. You can see blow holes and many wild flowers in season, and when lucky and spot migrating whales between May-Nov. Modern conveniences abound: free WIFI, Aircon, Netflix, full Foxtel. Downstairs, the air-conditioned living features two lounge areas, a dining and modern fully equipped kitchen with gas cooking. The dining area opens up to a fantastic outdoor entertaining area with alfresco covered dining and BBQ space, a solar heated salt-water swimming pool (excl. winter), pool side cabana with lounge chairs. A tropical garden surrounds the pool makes you instantly relax. Bedrooms are upstairs, master with ensuite. Main bathroom with vanity and walk-in shower, seperate toilet.

Neighbourhood information

Dunbogan Beach and Camden Haven River for fishing, paddling, surfing, local bush tracks for hiking all at your doorstep. Restaurants and cafe's right just a short drive away.
