Gaven & Tracy live on site with their three teenage boys & dog Maggie. They are constantly busy keeping Laguna Lodge updated and clean, but love to take the opportunity to enjoy Sussex Inlet whenever they can. They love boating, fishing, swimming, golf and eating good food and having a wine or two shared with good company! Their three boys keep them busy with footy, travelling around to training and games which they love to watch also! Nothing is a problem and they are more than happy to assist whenever they can in making your stay as comfortable and relaxed as possible.

Gaven and Tracy feel like Laguna Lodge is an extension of our own home. They make all their guests feel welcome and make sure they are very comfortable during their stay. They are always updating the place and making sure everything is fresh and clean. The gardens are coming along and really give the place a beautiful homely feel. You will mesmerized by the spectacular views of the water, the beautiful bird life and the occasional kangaroo hoping. But you will mostly enjoy the serenity and how peaceful and quiet the place is. Whether you come as a couple, family or a group. Tracy makes sure you are settled in on arrival and will lend you anything you may have forgotten whilst packing or will point you in the right direction to hire it or buy it.

Sussex Inlet offers beautiful beaches such as Sussex beach, Berrara beach and Cuddmirrah Beach all a 10 minute drive away. Sussex Inlet is an anglers paradise: beach, rock & estuary fishing are within easy reach. Because of its geography - the bay on one side of the peninsula and St. Georges basin on the other - anglers are spoilt for choice in any weather. St. Georges basin is the most popular fishery in the region & is a great place for holiday makers to chase a feed. Flathead, bream, whiting, tailor, snapper & black fish are throughout the system. Prawns run in the river once a month from November to April & the kids love scooping them from our private jetty. Trail bike riding is another sport that can be enjoyed during the winter months with an abundance of trails up and down the coastline. You can also cycle along the bike tracks, go to the famous Ocean and Earth outlet to shop or shop down the main street in some great little shops. We have Inlet Eats Cafe, Jopen Cafe, Seacrest Cafe, bakeries or the famous Sushi Bar located at Sussex Inlet Surf Club. There is also the local RSL Club, The Bowling Club, The Sussex Tavern or Inlet Pizza House for meals.
