Ulverstone is in The Central Coast Municipality. A country feel but with large supermarkets, specialty shops and a variety of boutique stores and dining facilities. Moderate climate, catering for the visitor with an excellent information centre, walking tracks along the river and central to Cradle Mountain and Stanley. Ulverstone has excellent Memorials and is famous for The Clock Memorial. Walk along the Leven River or venture out to visit Leven Canyon or other destinations within the Central Coast. Ulverstone is a 20 minute drive to Devonport or Burnie. Launceston 1.5 hrs away. Penguin a quaint seaside town 10 minute drive, but best of all a 5 minute walk into the town of Ulverstone.
