Neighbourhood information

Richmond is technically north of the river but is so close to the city most Melbournites simply see it as an extension. It is close to all the major sporting grounds, plenty of live entertainment venues as well as the Botanical Gardens and the Swan River. It has the best of both worlds and is in the centre of every major festival in Melbourne. If you are looking for quiet and sleepy you should definitely keep searching but if you're on the lookout for vibrant and exciting, convenient and cool then this is your neighbourhood.
