A country family pastoral company has owned the property for the past 21 years for the families use and more recently opened for bookings by holiday makers and travellers. Previously, one family owned the original taverna for 80 years.

Property information

Located right on the ocean front of a Mediterranean walkway, seconds from the ocean and minutes flat walk from Manly ferry, shops, restaurants, bars and cafes makes this the absolute best location to stay. There is the world famous Cabbage Tree Marine reserve immediately in front of the building with it's own beach and sunny areas, a fabulous rock pool with clean pacific ocean sea water to enjoy or simply take in the sun. Revel in the sunshine all year round, even take a dip if you don't mind temperate water in winter. Protected from cold winds, the Mediterranean micro climate is Warm in winter and cool in summer. Upon arriving at the property, you'll think you have arrived on a greek orTurkish island due to the weather worn exterior of the property (it was originally a taverna many years ago). The flats are simple shabby chic, bright white, clean with quality linens and have most of what you'll need for a fun and relaxing stay on the ocean front . To satisfy your coffee and food needs our neighbouring Bower restaurant offers you (guest) a 10% discount on anything you order be it a meal, coffee or a beer and also has free wifi if you ask for the code.

What else could you ask for in the very best location in Sydney let alone wonderful Manly. You can revel in the sunshine all year round and even take a dip if you don't mind temperate water in winter. Situated on the best Marine reserve in Sydney with the prettiest ocean rock pool imaginable and only a couple of minutes walk between the 2 best beaches on the east coast of Australia. 10 minutes flat walk will take you to shops, restaurants, cafes and bars as well as the city ferry where you'll enjoy all the best sights of Sydney. The rich and famous live in the surrounding properties paying upwards of twenty million dollars for the privilege of leasing their homes for 20 years.
