The rooms were lovely! Extremely comfortable. We especially loved the fact that we could pop downstairs for a drink after settling in and before our meal. Having a pre dinner drink in the back garden under the lush trees was a nice treat after a long drive.

The atmosphere was lovely! The rooms and how they are set with furniture and style are just so perfect for the type we had booked for. A great location, walking distance to Tumut River walk, parks, shops and of course, Tumut River Brewery (which was a highlight). We did share a bathroom which was fine, but would have liked our own bathroom. General breakfast cereals, tea/coffee, milk were all supplied and we did partake.

Brooklyn is the name of the historic mansion housing Medrinas restaurant and boutique accomodation. We were welcomed by the friendly proprietors when we arrived and during our delicious meal at the restaurant. Our roomy suite was very comfortable and how delightful to just walk up the stairs after enjoying a fine meal. Medrinas is located a short distance from the town centre near the picturesque Tumut river. We highly recommend a stay and meal at Medrinas

the breakfast was simple, but adequate, and the local yoghurt very tasty. I loved the old building, the beautiful gardens, and the casual, friendly atmosphere. Just wish we'd been able to sample the restaurant!
