The Normanville Getaway accommodation provides an entire top floor of the house including the balcony and laundry facilities. The house has all the mod cons you would expect including flat screen TVs, air conditioning, a full kitchen with utensils, washing machine, fan, electric barbecue, electric fireplace and comfortable beds and furniture. The balcony is well suited for summer evenings cooking a barbecue and watching the kangaroos appear across the road as the sun begins to set. It is an idealic and serene environment to relax and unwind and enjoy the beach and nature. We hope you enjoy your stay and look forward to you returning again in the future.
We do our very best to provide everything possible for our guests to enjoy their stay. We both live in the Normanville area and have enjoyed the Fleurieu Coast now since growing up as teenagers there in our summers. We especially love the kangaroos that come out to feed and play in the evenings, as well as the local birdlife that inhabit the Morton Bay Fig Tree at the front of the property. You can find us on our instagram as well at @fleurieucoast.
There are many places to enjoy at Normanville Getaway and most are walking distance. We recommend you enjoy meals and wines at the Normanville Kiosk located only 200m on the beachfront on Jetty Road. There is also the Normanville Surf Life Saving Club which has a balcony overlooking the ocean, a perfect spot to enjoy a cold beer and watch the sunset from. There is also the Normanville Pub located walking distance from the house. The local foodland and Little Sister Cafe are also just up the road. For the best pizzas in the Fleurieu, try Mare Bello pizza located in main street and try their menu, it is delicious. Of course, the beach is right there, take the time to stroll down the coast in either direction and enjoy a swim or just watching the sunsets, they are glorious all year round.
