Salty Eyre Glenelg is a quaint 1890 blue stone stand-alone cottage situated in a quiet street in Glenelg South. This gorgeous cottage sleeps up to 4 with a king and queen bed so is perfect for 1-2 singles or couples. All linen and towels provided. Salty Eyre Glenelg has a split system heating and cooling, fire places, ceiling fans throughout and a built in robe in the queen room. The open plan kitchen/dining/living has bi-fold doors opening out to a stunning private courtyard. It has a fully self-contained and equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, oven, microwave and coffee machine. Cosy lounge with smart TV/DVD/Sound Bar. Large bathroom with vanity, toilet, shower over large spa and washing machine.
My name is Nerissa. I purchased this gorgeous 1890 cottage back in 1995 in great need of some TLC. Early in 1996 I embarked on a major renovation which I completely loved doing. Following a number years living there, I moved back to the Eyre Peninsula and rented it out updating various items along the way between tenancies. Because of my love of travel and the travel industry, I wanted to offer this quaint place up as an opportunity for guests to feel completely at home while away from home. It has such a peaceful feel about it and when you visit I am sure you will agree. Anyway, welcome to Salty Eyre Glenelg.
Salty Eyre Glenelgs ideal location is just 3 mins walk (220m) to the Broadway, 9 mins walk (700m) to the beach and a 12 min walk (1km) to Jetty Road, Glenelg's most vibrant street. The Broadway offers 2 hotels including the Broadway Hotel with a beer garden, numerous cafes and alfresco restaurants plus an organic store/cafe, butcher, supermarket, florist and more.
