We live and work in the High Country. Mt Buller is located in our back yard. So we know the place and love to share our local knowledge with our guests. If you want an up to date weather report we can just walk outside and check it for you.

Neighbourhood information

Most people know that Mount Buller offers a vibrant winter atmosphere with 22 lifts servicing many Ski/Board runs on all sides of the mountain. The Apres night life is great for adults and kids and you can now ski most nights as well. One of the best kept secrets is that we are also open all year round and the prices drop in the summer and if you are into a bit of skiing/boarding late in the season - try September and you will get some amazing deals. You can hike or mountain bike ride around the mountain in pristine areas that the majority of people just don't get to see. There are many events during the summer months from the Dolce Vita Italian wine festival in the King Valley, through to Targa High Country - for world class motoring, Various bike events, fishing, horseriding, the Rail Trail starts in Mansfield and you can hire bikes and ride to Tallarook or shorter rides are possible. Or try Ballooning or Helicopter rides across the high country. For less strenuous things, just bring along a good book and curl up on top of the world and let time go by. See you up there....
