There is so much to see and do in this fantastic region. There are 2 local Golf courses, wineries, a chocolate and whisky factory, farmers markets, normal markets, produce trails, water skiing, wake boarding, wake surfing, kayaking, sailing, wind surfing, a skate park, great local shopping, walking tracks, a cheese factory, numerous bakeries, cafes and restaurants, over the warmer months there is a waterpark, clubs and pubs, courtesy buses, a multi sport triathlon, movie theatre, mini golf amusement park, hot rod runs, local football and the list goes on! I think Yarrawonga is a safe enough area, always taking precautions just like anywhere else - eg: locking doors, removing valuable items from vehicles etc.
