Home in Montreal was started in 2012 and has now welcomed well over 2000 guests from all over the world in their 11 short term and 7 long term rentals in Montreal. Since 2019 we have also added 4 units in Val-David, which are Hotel-Apartments. Home in Montreal offers short and long term furnished apartments to international travellers and business people from around the world. In Québec, short term rental (stays of less than 32 nights) is legislated by the government and the CITQ (Corporation de l’Industrie du Tourisme du Quebec). All our apartments are fully legal, this means we have the CITQ permits, the adequate zonage, insurances, and that we pay extra municipal taxes, lodging taxes (3.5%) and provincial (9.975%) and federal (5%) sales taxes.

AMAZING LOCATION IN THE HEART OF THE VAL-DAVID VILLAGE!!! This is a "Hotel-Apartment": Our units offer hotel type services (cleaning, reception, luggage storage, laundry, massage, restaurant reservations, etc.) with the space and benefits of a fully furnished luxury apartment. 1300 square feet; 2 bedrooms (3 Queen sized beds) and 1 full bathroom with shower and tub; 2 extra floor mattresses for a maximum sleeping capacity of 8 people; Gas fireplace (NOT in Unit 201); Heated floors throughout; Private parking in the back of the building. INCLUDED: High speed Wi-Fi internet, Smart TV (no cable) with Netflix account, air conditioning, heating, dishwasher, washer and dryer, linens and towels, shampoo and shower gel, everything you need to cook and clean. This is a brand new building (Spring 2019) with ecological orientations. The highest energy standards were targeted through the choice of materials and techniques used in the construction of the building. Overlooking the park, the rooftop terrace is the most magical place in the heart of the Val-David village. Covering an area of 1700 square feet, the terrace will include a BBQ, outdoor sink and rest area.

Neighbourhood information

Only an hour away from Montreal, Val-David peacefully overlooks the Rivière du Nord. Surrounded by mountains and forest and by its regional park, the village opens on "a World apart". A place where one can breathe deeply and take advantage of a rich range of cultural and outdoor activities and good tables. Val-David is the cradle of rock climbing in Québec, also a great place for hiking, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. It is also the bastion of famous artists and craftsmen. As the seasons go by, artists, nature lovers and sportspeople seduced by the arts meet. In the middle of the linear park Le P’tit Train du Nord, cyclists and cross-country skiers find in Val-David a privileged stopover.
