The room 224 was the best room we have ever had. Next time, we want the same room.
We had a phenomenal stay at this beautiful historic inn.
We had a phenomenal stay at this beautiful historic inn. The room was lovely and very cozy, resulting in 2 nights of very good sleep. Lisa, The hostess made 2 different creative and filling. Lisa gave up very good touring sites advice. Would stay here again with no hesitation. Recommend this inn very highly to others.

Lunenberg, of course, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, but there's almost nothing to see here. The downtown is a single street a few blocks long with a couple of mostly-empty side streets. One picture, and you are ready to move on.

Beautiful place. A must see destination.
Beautiful place. A must see destination. We only had one night and should have stayed longer. Lots of places to see. Lots of places to eat but it’s busy with tourists. We went a little off the beaten track away from the sea front and found some less busy eateries.

The most interesting item was the Fisheries Museum.
The most interesting item was the Fisheries Museum. Most of the restaurant served fried foods but we ate at The Lincoln Street Food Store which was very good. We found that the restaurants were expensive for the type of food they offered. To get around in Lunenburg was fairly easy, there are a lot of hills. I think that if we made another trip to Lunenburg we would try to get into the Art Galleries, most were closed when we were there. We would avoid most of the restaurants and try to find one that didn't serve only fried foods.

Loved this town!
Loved this town! Seeing and walking aboard the Bluenose II was great. Took the haunted tour - highly recommend. Great shopping for souvenirs but also for local artist's work. Hope to visit again!

Our visit to Lunenbur greatg was at the end of an 11 day tour of Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. We definitely saved the best for last. Would have liked to have had one more day in Lunenburg. All of the restaurants were great. we ate at the Half Shell Oysters, The South Shore Fish Shack and the Smoke Pitt BBQ. Just wanderin up and down the dock side and through town looking at all the different houses was entertaining.
Beautiful historical house set in an extensive well maintained garden. This property is simply gorgeous. The common room and breakfast room are comfortable and beautifully decorated. Our room was spacious with a luxurious spa bathroom. The whole place is spotless and the breakfast simply delicious. The property is relatively close to old city centre, it is possible to walk to restaurants and museums. This was one of the best B&Bs we stayed in Nova Scotia and we would definitely recommend staying there.
We loved everything about it! We stayed in the Cranberry Building and had a large suite. Not only did we love our room, but we loved the complimentary breakfast. The hotel is located downtown and walking distance to restaurants and other shops. We will definitely stay here again if we are in Lunenburg!
We loved everything about the motels cabin, it's cozy with a beautiful view. It was extremely clean and well kept. The staff was very nice and accomodating. We do highly recommend Atlantic view motel to anyone looking for a place to stay in Lunenburg. Thank you for a wonderful experience!!
The location is great. The building very interesting. The staff were so helpful. Our room was cosy, well equiped and had a fantastic view. Comfortable bed. And the restaurant food was delicious. We chose the Brigantine as it was advertised as "a quiet hotel" and we were due for a rest.
Great location in the center of Lunenburg. Lovely decorated gives it space for up to 4 people. Including a jaccuzi tub. Breakfast options just around the corner and for unloading easy to find a spot infringe the door. Mall watch out. There is a steep staircase up the rooms.
A super little bed and breakfast in an old admiral's house.
Completely and beautifully renovated. The host are wonderful!!
Right in the heart of Lunenburg with views on the water! Breakfast was simple but tasty and included a slice of some specialty smoked salmon.
It is a beautifully kept B and B. The hosts are lovely and go above and beyond. The home is located a walkable distance from the shops and restaurants of Lunenburg. Pride of ownership and attention to detail are top notch, I would highly recommend staying here.
We flipped a coin to see who would get the room in the main hotel and who would stay in the crimson building. We got the crimson room which was smaller but pleasingly updated! Fabulous!! Bed was amazing, thankyou! Breakfast perfect!
IT WAS A PRETTY LOCATION, VERY QUIET AND CLOSE TO HISTORIC TOWN OF LUNENBURG.
ROOM VERY CLEAN & WAS ALLOWED TO CHECK IN EARLY WHICH WAS APPRECIATED.
EVERYTHING REQUIRED FOR ONE NIGHT WAS AVAILABLE.
it’s hard to explore other restaurants when you’re staying above the best restaurant in Lunenburg!! Supper and breakfast for us. also, the bed is a heavenly pillow, and the view is spectacular
Lovely period hotel in the middle of historic Lunenburg, which we really liked, although many of the restaurants were closed when we were there and basically end of season
it is convenient to a visit to Lunenburg- location is accessible to all there is to see in Lunenburg.
the room is bright and room. The bed was comfortable.
