WE were warmly welcomed. The room was beautifully clean and thoughtfully set up. Bathroom very clean. I loked the fact that there was a recycling box in the room.

The owners are extremely pleasant and welcoming. The building and room were in excellent condition and everything was perfect. Early in the morning, the owner was drying off condensation from chairs and tables down by the river so guests could take their breakfast down to eat with a great view over the St Lawrence and tributary stream. We'd love to go back and stay longer at this hotel/motel

My brother and I were overwhelmed with how fantastic the Motel Gentilhommière was! We stayed for 5 nights whilst exploring the surrounding national parks, for which the property is in the perfect location. The team at the Motel were outstanding and incredibly kind, making us feel very comfortable and doing everything possible to enhance our stay. The facilities at the property were also amazing, as we visited in summer we had use of the outside kitchen so spent our evenings BBQing with a beer by the river, or sitting by the fire pit reading. Everything about this property was great, thank you so much to the team. We'd definitely visit again!

Really lovely place on the river and very close to the ferry terminal. They helped us get in the ferry line up earlier. Lovely simple breakfast on the outside terrace...bliss. Get here early and enjoy the atmosphere. It would have been nice to be able to stay longer and relax and read a book.

Extremely helpful and friendly owners. Very nice motel grounds next to a river, despite the view to the sea was largely barred by the road bridge. Sunny in the morning and early evening though and superb BBQ facilities. We had nice breakfasts outside. Genevieve was ever so helpful doing a batch of laundry.

The room was comfortable and the location is very close to the pier. I especially like the outdoor kitchen and small garden, the children are very happy.
