Host Information

Quite small fishing village on the water. I feel I am escaping to the freedom of sea and sky while on the dock reading a novel, or just watching the boats go by.
I love living on the water watching the seals in the winter lay on the wharf enjoying the sun , while the sea gulls and ducks huddle together on the ice in the water. All year we watch all the ships go by us to the Halifax harbour. I love the fact we are only 15 minutes to the city of Halifax, for me--- that is close enough.
We have great walking areas around the cove and a great take out or eat in restaurant-- walking distance-- who make excellant Pizza and a small variety store attached that have ice cream cones in the summer. There is a city bus route just 4 minutes away near the church and school that would take you into Halifax.
