My stay here was heavenly. I enjoyed the drive up and back down along winding country roads to the location, which itself has lovely views. When I arrived the hosts served me dinner in the restaurant before showing me to my room - being the off season I was the only guest staying. I also had to leave early in the morning, so they made sure that breakfast was laid out for me even though it was earlier than they'd normally open, which I appreciated! The room itself was cozy and comfortable. 100% would stay again!

The views from the hotel are incredible, you can see in all directions. The staff is super nice and helpful and all the food was great. Ideal for someone who just wants to stay in the fresh air all day long. Also there was no noise in the night.

Loction and view are perfect, as well as the room (the one with a mountain view). You will have everything you need in it. Breakfast was good although we prefer to have a little more vegetables. If you would like something extra that is not available in the buffet, feel free to ask the host directly for it. Would like to come again for sure.

As we arrived late, the restaurant was closed. Our wonderful hosts made sure to prepare us a wonderful dinner and made us feel truly at home. The location was amazing, (mind the 500m hill if you're on a bike), the view was incredible and truly was a highlight of our trip.

The host couple Martin & Claudia was simply wonderful, very congenial and service oriented, going the "extra mile" for each of our requests. Hearty home-cooked meals, uniquely delicious cakes, as well as Martin's exquisite scrambled eggs make a trip to Gasthaus Gemsli definitely worthwhile! We adored the fluffy cloud-like feather comforters, and the stunning setting amidst flowery meadows and easily- hiked mountain pathways. The air was so clean and fresh, and the sound of cowbells enchanting! The apartment was very modern, user friendly, and well stocked (loved all the coffee/tea provided in room).

One reaches this picturesque hotel after a 10-minute drive uphill from Sevelen (the Swiss town facing Lichtenstein's Vaduz). From there, one can enjoy an amazing view over the Rhein valley and the part of Lichtenstein's Alps that face Switzerland. The hosts are incredibly generous and responsive to clients' needs. Even breakfast hours can be tailor-made: a precious flexibility. The hosts make - and offer as part of the breakfast - their own jams. They also sell delicious lavender syrup, made from flowers in their own garden. These are people passionate about what they do - and one feels it. The owner's wine selection is also exquisite, featuring a fine local producer. In our time when industrial, tasteless food and one-fits-all attitude are often the dominant standard at a number of hotels, this place with caring, helpful people felt special.
