The host Maartje gave us a very warm welcome, making us feel at home straight away. The hostel was spotlessly clean throughout. Great facilities including a well equipped kitchen and a sauna with views over the town. Comfy beds gave us a great night's sleep which was much needed.

the location of this house is really outstanding. You literally go out from it skiing and in 2 minutes you are already in the main gondola, you can be in 6 minutes walking in the village as well. Also all the property was really clean and tidy during our whole stay. The hostess were all the time really helpful and available for any question. The facilities include jacuzzi (with incredible views) sauna and bbq so really cool.

Lars as a host was possibly the best I have come across, incredibly accommodating and made the stay much more enjoyable. The Basecamp is situated a short walk from central Andermatt amenities but far enough that you're able to encounter the lovely isolation that you're looking for - oh and ski-in. The place is set up to host moderate sized groups and there is space for activities, the host has many suggestions for what to do during the stay - from the best climbs as a cyclist to great knowledge of backcountry ski. Will certainly be returning

Lars’ property was clean and had complete amenities. The views were breathtaking, especially from the sauna and the hot tub. We had excellent communication and an excellent stay overall! I highly recommend staying here!

Wonderful property just outside Andermatt town. Lars and his wife kind and welcoming. It is definitely group living, expect to make friends over dinner and wine. You need to either ski or hike in with your belongings, so not suitable for everyone. The bathroom and kitchen were both very clean and well maintained, a sauna and hot tub and grill available for use. I hope to return and stay longer! Thank you!

Lodge très propre et très bien équipé Emplacement idéal pour partir en excursion dans les montagnes environnantes Possibilité de stationnement gratuit à proximité (3 min à pied) Totale autonomie "comme chez soi" pour la cuisine, la vaisselle, le lavage du linge, le repos au salon Calme, jolie vue... et immersion directe dans la nature (moutons très sympathiques !) Excellent accueil par le propriétaire des lieux, qui échange facilement (et dans un anglais irréprochable !) avec les visiteurs On en repart avec plein d'anecdotes et d'informations sur l'histoire et la géographie des lieux, et avec l'envie de revenir !
