The property was right on the beach where we got to enjoy beautiful sunsets. Well thought out good large clean space that was well equipped. Kayaks on the property if you like that. Nikki was lovely picking us up from the airport taking us to our car rental place, showing us where petrol and food places were then dropping us back at the airport on the day we left. He organised our lagoon cruise for us with a local which was amazing. Nothing was too much bother for him. We stayed one night in the lodge one in the beachside cabin. We preferred the cabin as it had aircon and a hose outside to wash our feet.

The owners of Sunny Beach Lodge are the best, extremely helpful and so accommodating. The most welcome I have ever felt at any stay. The location is excellent, close to the main town, local feel, and right on the beach. Rooms are basic, but really clean with everything you need. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

We had a great time at Sunny Beach Lodge when we stayed there for 1 week in October. Centrally located on the island, close to Amuri town. Supermarket and drinking water station are across the road. Niki is a fantastic host, doing his best to give his guests a wonderful stay. Sunny Beach Lodge felt like a warm community, we had so many lovely neighbours! Again, meitaki mata Niki!

It was a spur of the moment trip to Aitutaki. We booked at Sunny Beach Lodge. They offer airport transfers. We were greeted at the airport by Niki, he welcomed us with tiare maori eis (neck garlands) which was a lovely start to our stay. The garden room is very comfortable, clean, spacious with cool natural breeze flowing throughout. Niki arranged our rental scooter from Aitutaki Car & Bike Hire, which was fantastic. The beach is just metres away. We enjoyed the lagoon, white sandy beach and chilling under the shade. Very relaxing! Prime location on the beach. Niki is a wonderful & generous host ensuring that we were comfortable, he allowed us to stay a few hours longer to catch our late flight home. Thank you Niki 🙏. We will be back.

The Sunny Beach lodge was the perfect location for our 5 nights on Aitutaki. Excellent location as it’s close to the beach with some sunchairs and kajaks and a short distance to the town centre by bike (which are available for rent at the lodge). The room was spacious, very well looked after, simple but had everything we needed (we cooked most nights in the little kitchenette). The host Niki is what made our trip unforgettable! He is the most helpful person you can imagine, going above and beyond for guests, from helping organising trips, showing us around town and checking in from time to time if we have everything we need! Can not recommend enough the Sunny Beach Lodge for a stay on beautiful Aitutaki :)
