We booked two rooms so this is the second review but I’ll save to much typing, just like the first one we all thought this property and experience was amazing.

So glad we chose this place and to explore The Wall here. Lilly and Yang the hosts of this wonderful property are two of the nicest people we have ever met. Everyone one of us felt so welcome and really felt like home, we could not have asked for more, everything was perfect. I wish I could go there every night for dinner the food was delicious, the rooms are beautifully decorated and the location is absolutely perfect for the wall.

The feeling that you are home and that the staff are very helpful. For example they drove me to the Chinese wall, arranged a ticket for cable up+down and drove me to the bus station after check out. Also really important that they can communicate in English because that’s uncommon in Beijing in my experience. O yes, the food, just amazing taste + very good portions!

We arrived after some intense days in Beijing with our three kids, and it was like coming home. Yang, Lilly and their two kids welcomed us in their cosy home stay. We went there during February and the weather was cold, but the house was warm. The rooms were spacious with views over the hillsides. At the top floor Lilly started the fireplace and we had some lovely family nights after coming home from a wandering on the Chinese wall. The food was very good and Lilly helped with everything we needed

The family is very friendly. GREAT SERVICE. We had a warm welcome en our stay was a very nice experience. The diner is delicious and you can choose your own varieties and they cook it themselves. Breakfast and lunch is also great. The red wine, beer and whiskey is great quality. The accommodation is new, luxe, modern but also special with nice details. The location is ideal for visiting the wall. As an extra service they can organize themselves a superb trip to the wild part of the Chinese wall.

the rooms are very cute and clean! the host family is absolutely kind and so helpful!! super close to the Great Wall entrance (10 min walk to the cable car that takes you up). the hosts helped us buy tickets to Great Wall and a bus ride back to the city (which saved us so much money). incredible view of mountains and nature (and you can also see a corner of the great wall) from the terrace on the top floor. also, do not forget to try the homemade dumplings and food!!! they’re incredible!

The room was nice and clean. Nice space clean and good size bathroom. The owner was super kind and helpful. The food was delicious. They have good selection of delicious meals. Their meal menu includes various meals from Chinese to western. 3rd floor roof top has a great view of the great wall of China. The most impressive thing was the owner's thoughtful and kind help for our journey to the wall. He even guided us to the wall entrance about a few minutes away and bought tickets cheaply than the Website. I definitely go back again.

Extremely friendly and helpful family staff and the food is just out of this world. Best eggplant I’ve ever had and everything was good. A quick walk to the wall and nice view and place to sit on the balcony. Bed was comfortable and the room was simple but clean.
