YerbaBuena feels like a home from home. Regina and her husband were perfect hosts - so warm and welcoming. Their property is absolutely beautiful (small but has everything you need) and the real bonus is the garden area. It is very well located next to Stella’s Monteverde (a great breakfast or lunch spot) and the Coffee Center where you can get great coffee. You can easily walk into Santa Elena (which is larger than Monteverde) in around 25 minutes, and a taxi back will only cost around 7 dollars.

Yerbabuena is located in the heart of Monteverde, just three kilometers from the Cloud Forest Reserve and a very short distance from the Curicancha Reserves, Children's Eternal Forest, as well as being within walking distance of restaurants, cafes and craft shops. The property has large gardens with lots of trees and exuberant nature. Likewise, it offers a safe and fun family environment to take an unforgettable vacation, with large outdoor play areas and small walking paths that allow you to enjoy a contemporary, comfortable and clean view of its facilities. The property is composed of 5 comfortable, new and modern rooms built in a single module, which have a King bed, Queen bed or two single beds, each room has a private bathroom, likewise all rooms have large windows that offer an excellent view of the garden and the large number of birds, monkeys and agoutis that visit property every day. Yerbabuena has a common space for the enjoyment of all guests in the middle of the property. This area offers a complete kitchen, dining area (large table for 10) and a large living room with comfortable seats. We have high speed internet throughout the property.

We believe we have the best location in all of Monteverde! Within walking distance there are many attractions and things to enjoy: * We are surrounded by the cloud forest, protected by several Natural Reserves, all within walking access. * The Monteverde products factory, has a delicious ice cream parlor and store with several of its specialty products such as different types of cheeses. Mandatory stop. * There are several cafes around us: Cafe Monteverde, Stellas Bakery and Zuccaro.. * CASEM, the Cooperativa de Artesanas de Santa Elena y Monteverde, is a non-profit artisan cooperative dedicated to enhancing the economic and social well-being of local women artists. They have a store, workshop and restaurant. * There is also a small supermarket that offers a great variety of organic, vegetarian, natural and other type of products. * The Bat Jungle its a very educational and entertaining tour with live bats free-flying in a huge enclosure mimicing a cave. * Tramonti is close by, it is one of the most well-known italian fine dining restaurants in the area. The biggest supermarket is located 1 km away.
