The host Rufino and his staff are excellent. The bedroom I slept in is nice. The whole accommodation is very clean and modern. The rooftop terrace is very cool with great views of mountains and stars at night. The breakfast was delicious. The optional dinner is also really nice and great value. Local fish and vegetables with rice. Very tasty!!

View is amazing! Waking up there is a pleasure. Clean, tidy, comfortable, earlier check in was an option, drying your laundry also available. Warm water , quite okey wifi . Good connection to bigger city and to the most beautiful village Xoxo. Owner is very friendly, speaks a few different languages, stuff also very nice. No airco but no difficulties to survive, all windows open and it worked good. Worth to visit

This place has a big potential, it's a family house on the mountain with a stunning view and terrace. There is still some space for improvement in terms of equipment or cleaning but in general it is a very good place, with kind and helpful staff, and a nice breakfast. Just extra information: to reach to this place you have to go by long stairs, so take it into consideration if you are not a hiker/athletic person

Amazing location and familylike atmosphere :) The terrace is hugh and the view into the valley unique! You will enjoy a large breakfast, freshly made and every day with a little speciality of Irma, chef de quisine! If you order dinner after a hiking day you feel like beeing rewarded for the sportive part of your day, very delicious! Everywhere very clean. Shower with full power and hot. Washing machine. Safe and quite quartier, little grossery shop in walking distance. Next bus stop in 3 minutes walk for a 5 min ride to Ribeira Grande for catching little buses to Porto Novo and the ferry to Sao Vicente and other directions. The manager, his family and Kathleen and Mila are very friendly and make you feel taken care off in the best way, he speaks several languages, next time I will travel to Santo Antao I will definitely try to get a room in Casa Mingga i Tatol again!
