We had a really good stay here! We loved the environment, we all had our own room (with 3) and we definitly felt like home here. What a beautiful view, what a nice place to hike and what a nice hosts. There's a lot of sounds here from animals, but that was part of the experience here. Waking up here was a gift; the cocks, birds, dogs, donkeys... No warm water, no WiFi, just nature. The food in the restaurant (we had breakfast and diner, also vegetarian) was good. People around were so friendly and helpful during our hike. We felt so safe. This was our favourite stay on Santiago. Thank you (obrigada)

I love the valley and the little house! Watching the stars at night from the terrace and listening to the birds at sunrise. I felt very safe there as a solo female traveler. The villagers are very friendly, offering me mangos all the time. The food in the restaurant is very tasty and Yolanda cares for every need you have. One day there was no water, as the tank was empty, but the neighbours helped me to get water. I suggest you bring some school material to the village for the poor kids, I did so and the help was very much appreciated. Nature is astonishing and abundant, mango trees everywhere.... I will surely go back there!

Mitten in einem der schönsten Täler der Insel und am Rande des Dorfes, nur zu Fuß 10 Min. den Berg hinauf zu erreichen. Wunderbare Gastgeber und ihr Restaurant mit super leckerem Essen. Tolle Wandermöglichkeiten direkt ab Haustür. (Kleine Einschränkungen im Komfort wie nur kaltes Wasser gehören dazu, man darf keine Angst vor Spinnen und Insekten haben, aber das Moskitonetz über dem Bett hilft dabei prima.) Unser ernster Eindruck war schon außergewöhnlich: Hähne unter Banananpalmen, Ziegen und Lämmchen unter Papayabäumen und überall Rotschnabel – die Stimmen der Natur haben uns verzaubert. Das Haus liegt in einem von ungewöhnlichen Bergen umarmten Tal. Die Gastfreundlichkeit und die Wärme der Besitzer und das schmackhafte Essen fanden wir auch einmalig. Der zehnminütige Spaziergang vom Haus bis zum Restaurant vermittelt die bezaubernde Atmosphäre des Ortes. Alles in allem: für gestresste Großstädter eine Genesungstherapie.
