This was our fifth trip to Curacao and after staying on the west side of the island the past couple of times, we decided to stay on the more busy east side this time. Villa Blou caught our eye due to the great design inside and out and it did not disappoint. The facilities are good and the rooms large and airy. Kids loved the pool and we enjoyed having breakfast on the large table on the terrace. The cabanas by the pool were luxurious, although it would be nice to have some regular sun loungers as well. Location was great as we could get fresh croissants and bread every morning from the grocery store a minute away by car. Owner and property manager were easy to communicate with and any questions and requests were answered. We notified about the missing wine glasses mentioned in the previous review and a nice set of glasses were brought the next day :) We would recommend booking Villa Blou for a relaxing stay in the Jan Thiel area.

About the Property A sanctuary of style and comfort nestled in the heart of Curacao's most sought-after locale, a mere 8-minute walk from the pristine sands of Jan Thiel Beach. The elegant 5-bedroom, 4-bathroom villa comfortably sleeps 10 and offers a private swimming pool for your exclusive use. Featuring a spacious living area and a generous outdoor space with ample shade, Villa Blou promises an unmatched vacation experience. For groups of up to 6 people, only the 3 bedrooms on the ground level are included. For groups larger than 6, an additional bedroom on the lower level (the apartment) is opened for guests 7-8, and another for guests 9-10. These bedrooms have their own ensuite bathroom. Relax, refresh and enjoy the tranquility of our gated property.
About the Host We're a family of four, my wife's a cardiologist, I'm an IT entrepreneur and our two boys of 12 and 15. After living in Amsterdam, about 10 years ago we've moved to Amstelveen. Enjoying the space and the greener neighborhoods. We try and get to Curacao as often as possible, enjoying the island and our home.
