It is in the centre of the village and is comprised of two bedrooms with private bathroom facilities and a kitchenette on the ground floor. On the first floor there is another double room with private bathroom facilities interconnected with the master kitchen and a large veranda on the first floor overlooking the village. The house has a natural insulation due to its built and because of the comfortable temperature of the area, does not require air conditioning even during the hot Cyprus summers. Heating is available and a traditional fireplace sets a warm environment for the cold nights.A lot of care for the environment was given at the restoration of the houses. Both of them are energy efficient. The main energy saving advantage they both have is their original thick stone walls that serve as natural insulation for both summer and winter. All lighting functions with LED lamps and electricity is supported with photovoltaic systems. *Free Wifi is also available

My name is George Tzionis (Tigris) and I am your personal host and guide. I studied in Austria Hotel Management and Tourism. I had been a hotel manager in various hotels in Cyprus for 10 years. I then worked for 15 years as a Department Manager in one of the largest trading companies in Cyprus. I am Fluent in Greek, English and German. I am married Ismini, who is a pharmacist, and I have 3 children. My eldest is studying Maths in the U.K, my daughter is studying Physiotherapy in the Czech Republic and my youngest son is still at high school. Its beauty, fresh air and unique scenery make it popular with local and international visitors. In the village a visitor can enjoy the custom and rich culture that the locals still maintain. There are a lot of things a visitor can do in Palaichori. Its inclining slopes For mountain bikers (the altitude reaches 1100 metres) the inclining slopes can offer an exiting adventure as well as for those that enjoy mountain climbing. The nature lovers can enjoy the green scenery of the river that actually turn green in the summer, because of the numerous plane and walnut trees that grow from the bed of the river.
