The Sunset rooms are located at Dionysus Villa which is hidden away about 5 minutes walk from the centre of historic Kouklia Village. It is a very quiet rural location, almost a ' retreat', offering spectacular views to sea, and across olive and orange groves. Birdlife in the valley is extensive, and there are 2 very quiet old and friendly dogs on site, who are not allowed near guest accommodation. There are 2 cats, who's job it is to control countryside vermin. There is a large swimming pool , jaccuzi, outside terraces, and private parking. Each guest room has a large private terrace with stunning views of countryside, sea and sunsets and starry night skies. The property is 5 minutes walk from Kouklia Village Square. Sunset room has twin beds and bath, private terrace with table and chairs for 2 and a sun lounger. Kings View room has very romantic and huge Four poster bed, shower room, massive private terrace with table for 4 and 2 sun loungers .

Kouklia is a ' destination village'. Once the capital city of Cyprus (Palaipaphos) is full of antiquities, including the Temple of Aphrodite and Medieval Museum. The village is very traditional, with 4 tavernas around the square, a jewelers with workshop and art and craft shop. The village centre is closed to traffic during evenings in the summer months and there is regular traditional dancing and other entertainment. Kouklia is 15 minutes by car from Paphos Airport, and also to the edge of Paphos town. There is also a regular bus service. 10 minutes drive from the Villa, is Aphrodite's rock, again with spectacular views, and bathing. Drive another 10 minutes and there is the quaint village of Pissouri. I am happy to put Guests in touch with specific activity operations - i.e. Segway tours, horse-riding, cycling or walking.
