Booked the one person room for a 1 night stay underway to Austria. Very small room (they warned me because I'm tall, and offered an alternative), but bed is long enough so totally OK. I wanted this room in order to not spend too much money for 1 night/1 person. Restaurant was traditionally German "gemütlich" without being "dusty old", and nice food, exactly what I like during my travels to Austria. Free parking nearby, easy access from/to highway, friendly service.
This family-run hotel enjoys a quiet location in the town of Nesselwang, near Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau castles in Füssen.

Even though I was one of few guests having breakfast due to the off-peak season, a lady in the canteen was very friendly and welcome me with freshly cooked scramble egg and freshly brewed coffee.

Ample parking, comfortable room, breakfast was nice but commitments meant it couldn’t be sampled. Quiet location. Annalise who we met on arrival made a reservation for an evening meal.
This hotel in Oy-Mittelberg offers an indoor pool, local cuisine and attractive gardens. All rooms include flat-screen TVs and balconies with views of the Allgäu countryside.

Beautiful conservatory with marble tiles. The chairs are very comfortable and have pads on the legs so that they glide silently across the floor rather than make "being dragged" noises.
Spacious rooms, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable living room, fast internet, modern 4k television, parking at the door, shelter to collect luggage when unloading and loading the car. No hassle with deposits in an envelope. Good Italian restaurant, supermarket and swimming pool within walking distance.
Advice: if you go skiing AND swimming, you better buy an Allgäu-Tirol Skicard at the ski lift in Nesselwang. With this card you can also go skiing in Oberjoch and many other places
Good part its located in area where its surronded by Mountains and really good scenary. Had great time around the place Nesselwang.
I would recommend my friends. Secondly we got koginscard from hotel which covered like AlpsitzBahn, and other things free of cost .That was really budget friendly.
The breakfast was unlimited with minimum amount.
Hotel Alpenrose is a nice hotel near the Austrian border and the highway. I stayed for one night on my way to Italy. The room was very spacious and clean. The personnel was very friendly and helped me with everything I needed. It was also possible to use the charging station for charging my electric car. Also the breakfast was good.
Fantastic hotel. My kids like it so much. We are a family of four. The room is big, with both a bath tub and a shower. Over 20 sockets so we can easily plug in anywhere in the room. More than 10 small bottles of shampoo. Very clean.
Beautiful hotel based on solid pine - traditional Bavarian setting. Good breakfast. Easy automatic check-in using a machine if you arrive late. Very large rooms. Modern bathroom. Will be back when visiting the area
Room seems recently renovated, very clean and nice deco. We enjoyed sauna and swimming pool too. We enjoyed local cuisine at hotel restaurant, it was fantastic!!
