We went there for the Samba festival weekend, it was really amazing and worth checking if you are into this type of thing. Mixed ages, everyone was dancing on the streets, great street food, excellent performances and great small or big Samba bands from all over Europe! The after-party at the Congress Hall was great and indoors!

I've traveled through Germany for about 50 years, coming almost every year, mainly for work. I am not sure I had ever heard of Coburg. I picked it because my plans changed at the last minute and I had to find some place on the way from Frankfurt to the Hartz region. It turned out to be a lucky choice.

Historically very interesting.
Historically very interesting. Could visit Prince Albert's residences easily.
Could walk around to all town locations easily. Place has a charm,
Huge disadvantage and minus point is that everything shuts down in the evening too early. Almost impossible to sit outside and/or order food after 9 in the evening. Coburg turns into a bit of a ghost town after dark!
Shame.

The castle is amazing, for a small city it has an amazing collection and the grounds are lovely. Enjoyed the Market Platz and the surrounding streets. Would have liked an additional day to view some of the other museums.

I love Coburg, a quaint walled town rich in history. The town square is a great place to have coffee and watch the world go by. I visit primarily for the doll festival which is held annually in nearby Neustadt. Doll museum in Coburg is always worth a visit.

We stay every year in May for the Puppenfest.
We stay every year in May for the Puppenfest. Love the antique shop and individual shops. Excellent restaurant in the corner of the main square. Also WONDERFUL chocolate shop with choc bars of Victoria and Albert. Could stay much longer but the Puppenfest in other towns beckon. Don't miss the new Glass Museum just outside of the town.
I visited many hotels in Germany, I can say with confidence that the approach to these apartments is at a high level. Everything is organized, the manager is fluent in English. The apartment is cozy and warm, beautiful view of the castle and mountains. Highly recommend
The hotel is very good situated in the center of Coburg. Our room was rather big, comfortable and clean. In our room we had a big balcony with fascinating view to the old town and Veste castle. Really pretty hotel!
location was quiet and only 10 minute walk to city center, convenient also to the castle. very nice staff. parking was generous and hotel was easy to get to without hassle of driving through a city center.
This apartment was clean, neat, everything was there that you might need! Literally felt like home away from home. Walking distance to the mark platz and centre of Coburg.
Would definitely go back again!
Cleanliness, location, the hotel itself. Rooms were large with a great shower and bathroom. The wife loved the lace table cloths and plates cups and silverware. We would come back here in a minute.
This is a very nice hotel very near the Coburg city center. Our room was clean and comfortable. Hotel has lifts and limited parking. Nice staff. Very good breakfast with eggs cooked to order.
Very good hotel. With room where people can sit together inside. Also place outside. Parking place was also with enough place. Breakfast was only optional. I didn´t have it.
Good location in the center. Friendly staff. Big enough room (#2). Good Wifi. Easy check-in. The hotel informed about the required Corona test upfront.
