Our holiday homes are equipped with state-of-the-art technology and have a wonderful view of the castle pond or the castle courtyard. The apartments feature a kitchen as well as dining and living area, a separate bathroom with bath tub or shower, 2-3 separate bed rooms, flat screen TV and Wi-Fi. Nearby, there are beaches, restaurants, shopping facilities, and you can enjoy leisure activities e.g. on a 18 hole golf course, at Fördeland Therme water park, or you can go sailing, horse riding or rent a SUP at Glücksburg beach. Schloss Glücksburg Foundation welcomes you! Schloss Glücksburg was erected between 1583 and 1587. It is counted among the most significant family seats in Northern Europe. It is operated and maintained by Schloss Glücksburg Foundation with its head and chairman Christoph Prince of Schleswig-Holstein. The aim of the foundation is to preserve this unique cultural heritage and to present it to the public. When booking your holiday home you will contribute to the preservation of this cultural asset! Schloss Glücksburg is a museum with approx. 75,000 visitors per year. It is a popular location for couples to tie the knot and to celebrate their wedding. Occasionally, there are also events such as concerts, theatre performances, or a Christmas market on the castle’s courtyard or in the castle’s park. You will find up-to-date information about oncoming events on the web pages of Schloss Glücksburg. The holiday homes are located in the listed ancillary buildings of the castle. Accordingly, the historical layout and design of the buildings involves staircases which are not suitable for small children or people with impaired mobility.
