Our farm is situated in Hoheim which is part of Kitzingen. Even though it is outside the town and directly in the middle of vineyards and fields, it is quite central. Kitzingen can be reached in 1.5 km (the city center in around 4.5 km), Würzburg in approx. 30 minutes and Schweinfurt in around 40 minutes by car. In our quiet and natural environment you can recover and arrange several trips to various locations. My husband took over the farm from his father in 2004 and since then was continously working on the modernisation of the existing buildings. After a bad fire of the former house in 2014 he had to tear down the house and decided to build it up bigger and with a new plan. The new house was built of massive wood and was mostly finished beginning of 2017. Only some smaller works had been left and will be done step by step on our own. Now in total 5 apartments are providing enough space for our family, my husbands brother and 3 holiday flats (2 small flats with approx. 45 sqm each and 1 big flat with around 75 sqm).
We are a young, nature-loving family with a high attention to detail. My husband grew up with agriculture and made an apprenticeship as wine-grower. For him agriculture and wine-growing is not only his profession but also his vocation. I was born in Thuringia (Thuringian Forest) and live in this region here since more than 10 years. I have made an apprenticeship as industrial sales representative combined with foreign language correspondence. Meanwhile, I have more than 10 years of work experience in the International Sales Departement in the building industry. I also love my job and especially the exchange with people from other countries and cultures. End of April 2019 our second child completed our little family for the moment. As we want our guests to feel as comfortable as possible, we are continously trying to improve our farm as well as the flats. We are looking forward to your visit and hope you will love it as we do.
Near our farm you can find a lot of exciting locations to visit. No matter if you prefer to visit museums, like shopping, want to enjoy nature, would like to make your children happy or if you want to go swimming - our region provides the right opportunities for everybody. From spring to autumn you can visit numerous wine partys and enjoy the Franconian wine in an easy-going atmosphere. In December we have pretty nice Christmas markets in the cities around.
