We could call Heike and/or Tobias, they were extremely responsive and accomodated our earlier arrival immidiately. We could check in already at noon, which made our stay in Bernkastel-Kues longer and less troublesome. The appartement offered a great view on Bernkastel and the burg Landhut in the hills. It is located at walking distance from Bernkastel centre. Heike and Tobias run a winery as well. Their own wines are always available in the building. Upon request they organized a great tasting session. This was super fun and the wines were very nice as well. Great experience!

People from near and far love the Moselle region with its picturesque vineyards, wine, historic towns and fairytale castles. So it's no wonder that the Moselle Valley came first in the "Regions" category in a ranking of Germany's most beautiful sights - ahead of Rügen, Mainau Island, Bavaria and Sylt. The location of the house couldn't be better. In the Kues district in a quiet side street, just 600 m to the Moselle bridge. In the immediate vicinity there are bakeries, a supermarket, various restaurants, cafés, the best ice cream parlor on the Moselle, shops, pharmacies, etc. Bernkastel-Kues is the perfect starting point for hiking and cycling tours along the Moselle and trips to the Eifel, Hunsrück and Luxembourg . But there are many more options. For example, you can take a bicycle shuttle (starts 300 m from the house) to Daun in the Eifel and cycle past the romantic maars and castles on one of the most beautiful cycle paths in Germany, a former railway line, back to the Moselle, it's fine almost a glide. Three apartments measuring between 78 and 86 m², spread over three floors, are newly furnished to a high standard. The bedrooms are large enough to easily set up a baby bed if necessary. All apartments have a balcony with a fantastic view of the garden and the castle. The apartment on the ground floor has a terrace with garden access. On the ground floor there is a wine lounge accessible to all guests with a covered terrace where you can meet together. The kitchens are equipped with everything that makes a vacation comfortable Ceramic hob, oven, dishwasher, bean coffee machine with grinder, kettle, toaster, Egg cookers, high-quality porcelain and cutlery, etc.
The picturesque town of Bernkastel-Kues is beautifully embedded in the most beautiful valley in the world. Walk through the beautiful old town with its picturesque streets and enjoy the view of the castle. Bernkastel is the ideal starting point for hikes and bike tours on the Moselle, through the vineyards, but also in the beautiful landscapes of the Eifel and Hunsrück. Trier and Luxembourg can also be reached quickly by car.
