Company information

We are Janni & Alex with roots both in Denmark and England and we decided to bring the best of both worlds to our farmhouse in Lustrup. As Lustrup Farmhouse is also our home it has been important to us to retain many of the original features of the old barn to create a very warm, "hyggelig" and welcoming feel that will embrace all our guests and add to the experience of a unique holiday. From the beginning we knew that we wanted to minimize our impact on the environment and make the development as environmentally sustainable as possible by using the natural resources the countryside provided. Solar panels & a ground heating system provide hot water and under floor heating through out the farmhouse. Car charger for electric cars now available on site. We will very much looking forward to welcome you, your family and friends to our farmhouse - our home.

Built in 1927 as a working farm, Lustrup Farmhouse has now become a environmentally sustainable holiday destination with 6 apartments with comfortable rustic farmhouse charm overlooking the beautiful countryside with fields and woodland. Close to many family & cultural attractions and right in the heart of the Wadden Sea National Park. Car charger for electric cars now available on site. Overview: 4 farmhouse apartments, 100 sqm, sleeps max 6 people. All with private terraces. 1 farmhouse apartment, 65 sqm, ground floor, sleeps 3 people. Private terrace. 1 farmhouse apartment, 62 sqm, first floor, sleeps 3 people. Cosy & high pitched ceiling. The farmhouse apartments include all kitchen equipment including dishwasher, bedlinen and towels for everybody, laundry room available and playground for the little ones, Free WIFI internet and parking. Non-smoking apartments and pets are not allowed. The prices are the cost per apartment plus a service charge of 795Dkr/995Dkr. Accept bookings in July & August of min. 5 nights / / min. 2 nights during low season.

Lustrup Farmhouse is a short distance from the beautiful town of Ribe where you find the town's prominent landmark Ribe Cathedral, the old town, museums and art, lots of shops, fun family activities, events and festivals. The popular Ribe VikingCentre is a 10 minute walk from the farmhouse also located in Lustrup. Riplay is a new amazing playground in Ribe which is the biggest of its kind in Denmark - free for all kids to visit. Everything surrounded by the unique and beautiful nature of the Wadden Sea National Park.
