Old timey city center with some half-timbered houses and generally traditional architecture. The streets are kinda narrow which gives you a comfy feeling.
The rest of the city is very spaced out, however, which is to say everything is pretty distanced from each other which means you have to get used to walking, and the trainstation is 10-15 min walk from the city center.
I think the best way to describe Randers is that the local H&M doesn't have a male section but they have a very modern cinema. Food was fine. 20 DKK beer at the old irish (Pilsner).

Randers, is not what it used to be.
Randers, is not what it used to be. The city center is now centred around how to get drunk, and how to get something cheap to eat.
It use to be the "capital" of the region, where today it's known for partying and the Randers Rain Forest.
There are some quite intersting buildings to see apart from the Rain Forest, and a walk along Gudenå (river) is also to recommend.

A city with the feel of a town, nice restaurants, though beware that there are not many open on a Sunday (Hotel Randers included - try China Wok House just round the corner, it's better than you might think). Much quieter than, say, Aarhus, but that suited us. Easy access to that part of Denmark and much easier to navigate than Aarhus.
The location was in the center of town. I was a bit concerned, once I got the exact location, because it was above a restaurant. However— no worries at all, the unit is on the third floor (as the U. S. counts) andit was no problem to sleep. It was kind of fun to “be above” the action! The beds were comfortable, the heat was adequate, hot water for showers, etc. all good. We did not cook, but we certainly could have.
Beautiful and peaceful little 2 bedroom cottage, so quiet, only the birds singing. Lovely to have plenty of space, large living room and bathroom. Good shower, able to cook for ourselves, supermarket not far away. Very helpful host who told us about nearby walk around nature reserve, which was excellent. Randers is a lovely town, interesting buildings. Good value for money.
Little bungalow behind/on left side of a big family house, on a quiet street. While still within walking distance of shops, restaurants and city centre.
Cozy kitchen with plenty appliances and utensils, spatious living area with big couch, comfortable bed.
Would definitely stay there again when visiting Randers.
The rooms were spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The venue was in a quiet and peaceful part of Randers, overlooking a valley with a stream. The landlord was extremely welcoming and helpful, giving useful advice on where to shop.
Amazing place and location near to Randers that I was visiting.. amazing hosts that took care of me and my dog
Got a exclusive breakfast- I do recommend that you by one
Wish it was warmer so that I could test the pool - next time 🥰
It is on the old hotel that has been renovated and is a bit of a mismatch. It is a difficult hotel to access by car, with lots of one-way and pedestrian streets, and a very narrow entrance and crowded underground garage.
