Can you imagine staying in one of the most peaceful, wild and unknown corners of Los Picos de Europa? Above you, just a few minutes walk away, the National Park. Around you, one of the best views of Peña Ventosa, Peña Sagra and the Sierra de Colio. Seeing the sunrise or sunset from the 12,000 square meter meadow that the property has will allow you to enjoy nature and the landscape from one of the most beautiful corners of the Valley of Liébana. The apartments are new, spacious, bright and cozy. All of them have an independent entrance. They are decorated in Nordic style, minimalist, with a very comfortable furniture so you can enjoy your stay. They have a fireplace, heating and air conditioning. Many of them are duplexes, there are also - just as cozy - on one floor. All of them are equipped with a microwave oven, dishwasher, sofa bed, fridge and bathroom with shower. A washing machine and a dryer are available for our guests. But the real luxury is the place where they are. A unique place for those who want to enjoy nature in a quiet place, where there is almost no noise, where no buildings, only meadows, separate you from the Picos de Europa National Park where you can wa...
Los Picos de Europa apartments is the personal project of Dario Rodriguez, director and owner of the magazine and editorial Desnivel, who after almost four decades traveling through many mountains and natural places in the world, understood that the Picos de Europa is a unique place that wants to share with those who have the same vision of enjoying nature causing the least possible impact. This project is much more than just a few apartments, because in this place you will experience encounters -with some of the most representative characters of exploration, mountain and adventure- that will have the purpose of sharing knowledge related to creativity, art and sport. The apartments are located in a historical place: the building is the reconstruction of the stables of the Cavalry School that General Díez Porlier created in this place. In fact, the pedestrian access to the apartments is done through the portal that is still preserved from the School of Chivalry.
In the middle of nature, a few meters from the Picos de Europa National Park which can be reached on foot in a few minutes. Between the apartments and the National Park there are no other buildings, only meadows, nature and a silence only broken by the fauna. You will like the apartments for their spaciousness and luminosity, but what will really impress you are the landscapes and the tranquility that you can breathe in this place, from which you can make beautiful excursions walking or cycling.
