Excellent value. Absolutely great for a family. Very friendly, warm, rustic, has soul, feels like home. Great location. Small quiet neighbourhood, very strategic to explore the rest of the island. Walks straight from the property. Parking inside gate. Kids can explore, swim, play all inside property without ever getting bored (includes true hide and seek). Fruit trees and flowers make for an oase in an otherwise barren landscape. Excellent communication with the owner.

The main house has its own private garden and terrace, and is completely separate and independent to the Casita (2 bedroom property also rented for holidays). It makes it an ideal rental for 2 families who want to holiday together. The 2 properties share the pool area and large front garden laid out with fruit trees and plants. The house consists of 2 main bedrooms and another room with a daybed which can be adapted as a bedroom or used as an extra sitting room. The main living room has a large sofa with chaise, reclining armchair and small comfy seat, benefiting from a curved smart TV. The master bedroom has a special feature as it has a King size bed. Off the living room is the bar which is adjacent to the BBQ opening onto the front terrace, making it perfect for family bbqs.
I lived in Casa De Gato for 17 years before moving to the mainland and it is close to my heart, after many happy years there. I saw the property refurbished and the building of the Casita in front, I realised the vision I had when I viewed the old Finca all those years ago. The rustic style reflects my artistic side and I hope you enjoy the individuality of my home. The day to day management is done by my property manager and he will ensure your stay is taken care of, please do not hesitate to contact him if you need anything.The peace and tranquility of the area is what attracted me to the house when I bought it all those years ago, combined with the spectacular sea views. I miss my mountain home but enjoy returning through the year to visit Lanzarote and catch up with friends. Please enjoy my lovely home like I did and have an amazing holiday. Please remember Casa De Gato is a rural Finca and as such is rustic with the normal idiosyncrasies of an older rustic property.
The area is very quiet and only 6 houses in the immediate area around the house, there are miles of walking in the area and it is very central for visiting the Island attractions with 10 minutes from Costa Teguise, and Arrecife and 20 from Puerto Del Carmen. You can get to the South of the Island in 40 minutes and the North in 25. A rental car is needed because of the locality being rural, however everything is within easy distance, supermarkets as close as 5 minutes. Restaurants are plentiful in Costa Teguise, Teguise and Arrecife. Fundacion De Cesar Manrique is at the end of the road on the main road and easily within walking distance. Costa Teguise Golf Course is less than 10 minutes by car. Scuba Diving and wind surfing are available in Costa Teguise and Horse Riding with Horses Lanzarote only 20 minute drive to Tesaguite.
