Helpful and welcoming hosts who left a lovely welcome basket with some fruit and local treats. A lovely characterful house with lots of space and everything we needed for our stay. A nice terrace / little garden area for alfresco dining.

The Casa de la Gañanía is an old country house, located on a local road in the municipality of Los Realejos in the north of the island of Tenerife. It is a typical manor house, rehabilitated in 1998 for Rural Tourism, it is over 100 years old and has two accommodation units with independent entrances: La Casa 🏡 Grande and La Casita del Jardín.
I am a retired high school teacher and for about 21 years I have managed the house with my wife Blanca, also a retired high school teacher.
It is a neighborhood road with few neighbors, although it is a common route, although not very frequent. It is recommended to rent a car although there are bus stops less than 500m to Puerto de la Cruz.
