Your Don Cayo holiday experience Our recently renovated apartment (2016) is situated next to the popular Altea golf club, on the outskirts of the village of Altea La Vella near Altea. The apartment has a large terracotta terrace where you can relax and enjoy the beautiful views of the mountains and the golf fairways. It has a spacious living room, a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious double bedroom and a large bathroom. There is a glass sliding door opening from the living room and the bedroom to the terrace; so there is plenty of light inside and you have a lovely view. The authentic Spanish atmosphere is combined with the comforts of a modern apartment. The Olla Beach and the old town of Altea are within 5 minutes-drive, the sandy beaches of Calp and Moirara are a short drive away and there are many lovely villages you can visit.

My wife and I love to travel, especially through Spain. During our stay in Altea la Viejja we fell in love with the village and surrounding area. By now we've already discovered much of the area and in the apartment we have placed a folder with recommended (day) trips; from nice restaurants to cultural activities.

There is a lot to see in the area of ltea la Vella. You can experience something new every day. The area offers lots of opportunities to athletes, sunbathers, trip makers and shoppers. This variety combined with the famous pure air ensures that you and your partner are guaranteed to enjoy a wonderful holiday. Below are some suggestions. The distance indicated is the shortest route. Golf club (walking distance) The apartment is located near golf club Don Cayo. The golf club is uniquely positioned between the sea and the mountains and offers 9 holes. On the golf course you can enjoy lunch and dinner.  Altea la Viella (walking distance) A typical Spanish village you can easily walk to from your apartment for your shopping or to enjoy a coffee or beer on a terrace. La Olla 4 km Pebble beach with typical Spanish chirinquita's or cabanas. Swimming and most water sports are among the possibilities. A vibrant city with many kinds of shops and restaurants.
