Hi I'm Paul, I live in Casa Harvey with my partner Jane and our two teenagers (who come and go) plus our 3 small but mighty rescue dogs. We live here all year round and love the Garrotxa and Pla d'estany.

Property information

Welcome to Harveys homestay . Our home is set on a hillside just outside the village of Mieres in Girona, Catalunya. Our home is over 200 years old and has wonderful stone features outside and a modernised interior on 3 levels. The house is entered via a stone staircase to the front door where you will find the living room with open fireplace and comfy seating, a big outside terrace - partly open, partly covered, with heating and a large dining table and seating. The views are stunning. On the second floor are 3 guest bedrooms and shared bathroom. Please note: We can have up to 6 adults staying in this zone at one time so the bathroom would be shared with 4 other guests. Back down and out of the front door again takes us to the saltwater pool, garden, chill out area and our final guest bedroom which is outside in a wooden cabin with its own outside space. In this area is another large full shared bathroom. The whole outside zone is just the most amazing space - peace and privacy, nature all around. *IMPORTANT : there is a fridge, microwave and utensils for guest use but NO KITCHEN and both bathrooms are SHARED bathrooms.

Neighbourhood information

We are in La Garrotxa National Park, close to the volcanos, and right between the fantastic towns of Banyoles and Olot. We are the perfect base for sports & activites like biking, walking, trekking, riding, hot air ballooning, motoring plus of course there are many places of natural beauty and touristic interest very nearby. We are also handy for sports tournaments at nearby El Collell.
