Los Cristianos is in the municipality of Arona. Arona is one of the main tourist towns in the south of the island, with more than 15 kilometres of coastline with beautiful beaches of volcanic origin. Within the municipality there are four different areas: Playa de las Américas, Playa de los Cristianos (where the flat is located), Playa de Las Galletas-Costa del Silencio and Arona Rural. To visit Playa de los Cristianos is to enter fully into a seafaring atmosphere that blends in with the city. This urban beach was one of the first to be visited by tourists in the 1960s.
