Neighbourhood information

Skyscraper city Benidorm is often known as the mini ‘New York of the Costa Blanca’. A very apt name, as it has 77 buildings with more than 25 floors: 27 of which exceed a height of 100 metres. In Spain, it is third only to Barcelona and Madrid in the number of skyscrapers. Poniente Beach Benidorm has two great beaches: Levante in the north and Poniente in the south. Thanks to their privileged location, they are warmed by the sun’s rays until sunset in the winter, and in the summer, even after 8. Formerly known as Escata beach, Poniente beach has just over three kilometres of fine sand stretching from the Yacht Club on the north side to Tossal de la Cala at the south, where archaeological remains from different eras have been found.
