MOJÁCAR is very popular tourist resort with great beaches on the Costa Alméria coasta. There are two distincly different parts which are 2km apart - MOJÁCAR PLAYA - the modern beach resortes and MOJÁCAR PUEBLO - the origin village perched up higher on the foothills of the Sierra Cabrera. There is a hourly bus service between these two villages. Town VERA is only 4km far away. Every friday you can come for fish market. 10km far away town VERA is located. Its famous for its nude beaches. You can also find there an aqua park. For the natural lovers there are karst caves SORBAS (35km) and national park NIJAR NATURAL PARK with its unique nature (80km on the south) . The clothes airport is ALMERIA (59km), but most frequented is MALAGA airport (280km)
