There are 85 TV channels in English, Spanish, German, French, Swedish, Norwegian and Finnish 300 MB WiFi, ideal for teleworking.
It is a quiet area, very near from the beach, very recommended if you want to rest or if you have children, it is very safe for children. In winter retired people living in Mil Palmeras, mostly foreigners, gathered weekly beside the church to play petanque. If you are interested in visiting places, there are many near Mil Palmeras, such as the city of Cartagena, Caravaca de la Cruz.... If you travel with children you can take a trip to Tabarca island from Torrevieja, and visit Lagunas of La Mata and Torrevieja Natural Park, as well as Safari Park in Elche. In summer you can enjoy the beach and the restaurants, mostly recommended: - La casa del reloj (San Pedro del Pinatar) - Restaurante Hotel Montepiedra (Campoamor) Besides there is shopping mall, La Zenia Boulevard, which is the biggest in Alicante and you can find many shops, restaurants and daily entertainments for all ages.
